My Healing Cottage
"A Sacred Place to Reflect and be Revitalized"
My interest in working with men who have prostate issues (BPH, prostatitis, and prostate cancer) began as I discovered how many men in my life had current or past experience with one or more forms of this challenging problem. Their concerns were brought out into the open as I listened intently to their stories. The more stories I heard and the more I explored this topic the more my heart filled with compassion. My interest in prostate health turned into a calling. My desire to find answers to their questions led me to a research project that I was honored to present to my fellow classmates in 2008 at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing®.
As a requirement for graduation each senior must produce a "Year 4 Project," a 10-15 page paper that is intended to bring the student's unique expression as a healer into the world. It is through the development of the Year 4 Project that each student moves deeper into the discovery of a universally asked question: Why am I here? This question is centered in the context of each student's journey as a healer. One of the requirements for this project is that it must represent an integration of the 4 dimensions of humankind (physical, auric, haric and core star). The uniqueness of the school provides an outlet for diverse and creative expression. Year 4 Projects vary greatly and become an outward physical expression of each student's individual divine essence.

Andropause. If you haven’t heard of it then that isn’t surprising. Somewhat similar to menopause, which impacts women, andropause can impact men. Reported back in the mid 40’s and labeled “male climacteric,” sometimes referred to as a mid-life crisis or “man-opause,” and more recently as ADAM (androgen deficiency of the aging male), andropause has been with us for a while and is gaining attention. This show will look at its cause, your chances of being impacted, symptoms, and some options for dealing with it.
